ECU remapping — also called chip tuning — rewrites the calibration your engine control unit uses to run the engine. We refine fuelling, ignition timing and boost characteristics so the engine delivers more usable power and torque across the rev range, with sharper throttle response and smoother drivability rather than a single peak number.
A generic off-the-shelf file is written for an idealised engine, not yours.
